This Program provides supports to the foreigners and their families living in Mexico to adapt better to the business and everyday activities. Our program consists of a CROSS-CULTURAL SEMINAR:

DUTY MANAGEMENT SUPPORT

The support is provided in weekly hour's basis. Consist in personal consulting with the Logistics Department. At the end of the program, the designed personnel will be capable to perform completely the following activities.

Implementation of a complete process of NAFTA Certification of Origin.
Development of a process to measure the Duty Impact of the NAFTA November 1, 2000 changes affecting Maquiladoras (Including analysis of origin of components, evaluation of Bills of Materials, Components comparative analysis).
Development of a process to minimize the Duty Impact
Development of a process to comply with the document requirements of the Mexican government to the correct payment of duties.
Inscription in the Programas de Promocion Sectorial.
On-line permanent support
Preparation for a US Custom Service and Canada Revenue Verification Visits to review the NAFTA exports to the USA and Canada.

LOGISTICS OPERATION AND CUSTOMS AUDITS

This area provides logistics support on the daily operation activities related with the import export process. The logistic activities and customs compliance is operated in-house with personnel of Global Trends. Global Trends will be responsible of comply with all legal requirements, record keeping, service negotiation with brokers and carriers (if required). The services are contracted on a monthly fee.


LOGISTIC AND INTERNATIONAL TRADE TRAINING

This is a training program for al the Logistic Department. At the end of the program, the employees will have a complete vision of the most important issues of the Logistics and Customs compliance. The seminars are 4-5 hours. The seminars are scheduled as the convenience of the company, and are provided in your own office. It is recommended to take one seminar a month, however the company can chose one or more seminars. Material of the Seminars is provided.
